Sovereign AI

Over 180 languages are spoken in the Philippines, and almost none are meaningfully represented in frontier AI. Our priority is a sovereign Filipino language model and a multimodal generative model, trained on a decade of rights-cleared Cebuano and Tagalog media from our own productions.

“We spent ten years accidentally building the dataset. Now we are deliberately building the model.”Budots Media — A Sovereign Filipino Language Model

Kalanggaman

One island, told four ways: a guide, reels, flyovers, and now a world you can walk.

Kalanggaman Island (Palompon, Leyte) runs through our work. There's Kalanggaman.com, the island guide we own under the Philippines Tourism Company, reels on the Kalanggaman Island Tours page, and AI flyovers.

In September 2026 it became a place you can visit from any browser. The islet, the wood, the beach and sandbar, the reef, the jetty and the cottages all come from OpenStreetMap. It runs on the engine of our fishing game Isda: raw WebGPU, an FFT ocean with shore waves and caustics, sky and clouds. You walk, swim and drive a bangka around it.

Playable Philippines

A video ad now costs nothing to make and earns nothing to watch. A game earns attention, trust and data. So we make the Philippines playable: a barangay you can fish from, an island you can walk, a battle you can fight.

Gen AI Lab

This is where we run one-shot experiments and side-by-side technology evaluations. It's how Budots Media picks its tools before they touch client work.

2D Image Lab

Hugging Face Spaces · FLUX.2 Klein 9B · Krea 2 Turbo · Qwen-Image-Edit · 2D → 3D

One subject, a freediver, pushed through LoRA stacking, identity-preserving instruction edits and multi-image compositing. We also reconstructed flat imagery into depth.

Evals

We hand the same brief to competing models at once and judge the results side by side. The point isn't picking a favourite model. It's knowing which tool wins which job.

Arena Battles

Arena battle mode · Kimi K3 · GPT-5.5 / 5.6 Sol · Claude Fable 5

Freediving parallax sites where the sea colour shifts with scroll depth, LOVE-PH palette square animations, and a production-house landing page, all one-shotted head to head.

Two engines start from an identical frame. We judge them on water physics, board wobble and how the paddler survives the waterline.

Built with AI

This is where the lab pays off: tools and experiences people use, not only watch. Each one started as an AI evaluation and became something interactive.

Drone Show Planner

Can AI build professional drone-show software? This is our answer: a browser tool for designing and visualising drone light shows, with hundreds to thousands of drones animated as point clouds and collision avoidance built in.

It loads GLB, FBX and other 3D files, turns mesh vertices into drone positions, sorts the transitions between formations and exports a vendor-ready sequence. It's an open alternative to proprietary vendor tools.

MICE PH Directory

The first directory of Philippine event spaces for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions. It has a venue finder, hotel listings, capacity data and live dashboards, and it was built from a dedicated market-research pass.

Planners use it to answer the real question (“where can 300 people meet in Cebu?”) instead of scrolling through brochures.

MCP

We've practised with MCP since the protocol launched. We drive Blender from Claude (the biggest impact so far, for complex 3D scene builds), Unreal Engine 5.8 through its native MCP plugin (by far the most token-hungry), and Adobe After Effects.

Interactive experiences, assets that keep growing in value, and original IP: why these three matter more than ever in the age of generative AI.
